This is the last year for the mighty Flash Player – 31st December will mark the last day of the Flash Player. Adobe encouraged the users to uninstall it before this year ends.
Adobe called on users to remove Flash Player from their computers by December 31, 2020, the deadline for ending support for the program (End of Life, EOL). According to Adobe, as soon as Flash Player reaches EOL status, the company will not only stop providing updates but also intends to remove all the links for downloading Flash Player from its website. Therefore, users will not be able to install the software and continue to use an unsupported version.

They also said that “Flash content will be blocked for launch in Flash Player after December 31, 2020. Presumably, the company has already added or plans to add the so-called “time bomb” in the Flash Player code in order to prevent the use of the program after reaching EOL. The reason for this is that Flash Player was often the target of cybercriminals and malware developers. Once Flash Player reaches EOL at the end of the year, Adobe will not release security updates, exposing Flash users to the risk of attacks.
